our motivation
Let me give you a little backstory on how gooutandsee came to be. I’m Gen, and this site was started by me and my ever-supportive husband. We used to be total homebodies – seldom left the house, never socialized much, and were pretty frugal with our money.
But when we met, something clicked. We realized there was this great big beautiful world out there just waiting to be explored beyond the four walls of our home. We started getting out more, making new friends, and seeing amazing sights.
Those experiences were eye-opening. They reminded us not to take life for granted living in the same tiny bubble. We wanted to keep pursuing adventures and hopefully inspire others to do the same.
That’s why we created this site – not just to give travel tips and share our own journeys, but to really encourage you to go out and see what’s out there. There’s so much wonder and beauty awaiting if you’re willing to take that first step outside your comfort zone.
